In June 2021 Wickford Town Football Club was proud to announce that 6 members of our club committee have recently been awarded FA Long Service Awards to recognise grassroots volunteers. In 2024 Jill Barnard was awarded her 20 year service award for volunteering at Wickford Town and on the Womens League.

In 2026 Ateek and Freya were awarded their 10 year long service award and Clive received his 20 year service award. An achievement of dedication and commitment as volunteers to both the club and the community. We feel privileged at the club to have so much experience behind us and are proud of what our volunteers do to help move this club forward.
